July 23rd 2004 - CLOSING COCKTAIL PARTY FOR THE HAUTE COUTURE COLLECTIONS The closing cocktail party took place
on Thursday, July 8, 2004 at the Pavillon Ledoyen in the presence of
Patrick Devedjian, France’s Minister of Industry. This traditional
event enabled members of the profession to gather together and celebrate
the remarkable week of collections but also to honor the career of Françoise
Benhamou who is retiring from her post of 37 years as head of legal
affairs and intellectual property at the Federation.

Jacques Mouclier, the honorary president of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, held a signing for his book “Haute Couture” at the cocktail party which closed the couture collections in July. This passionate work, published by J-M Laffont, retraces the 27 years Mr. Mouclier spent working within the Federation. The pages are filled with turning-point events and never-before heard stories about French fashion and the industry. |
