Louis Féraud creates his first “Maison de Couture” in Cannes.

1955
Established his Couture House in Paris - rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré

1957
Dressed the Parisian elite and designed the wardrobe of Brigitte Bardot for many of her movies.

1958
First presentation Haute Couture Collection in Paris.

1960
Louis Féraud hired a young unknown designer : Jean-Louis Scherrer.

1964
Louis Féraud hired a new designer : Per Spook.

1970
Signed a contract with FINK (Germany) for the Ladies’ Ready-to-Wear.

1978
Won the “Golden Thimble Award” for his Spring/Summer 1978 Haute Couture Collection.

1984
Won the “Golden Thimble Award” for his Spring/Summer 1984 Haute Couture Collection.

1991
Louis Féraud was elected « Prince de l’Art de Vivre »

1995
Officier de la Légion d’honneur, decorated by the French President on March 16th in l’Elysée.

1996
Louis Féraud made way for her daughter Kiki and she signed her first Haute Couture Collection.

1999
September : The Dutch group Secon completes its acquisition of the house from the Féraud family. December : Louis Féraud died at the age of 79.

2000
April : Yvan Mispelaere joins the group as Artistic Director.
July : His first Haute Couture fashion show in “Musée des Monuments Français” in Paris.

2001
January : Spring/Summer Haute Couture fashion show in “Galerie Paradis” in Paris.
March : First “Prêt à Porter de Luxe” fashion show in “Carrousel du Louvre”. July : Autumn/Winter Haute Couture fashion show in “Galerie Paradis”.

2002
January : Spring/Summer Haute Couture show in “Galeries Paradis”. March : The German Group ESCADA takes 90% of the Féraud shares. Yvan Mispelaere leaves the Company.
April : Féraud decides to concentrate its activities on Ladies’ Ready-to-Wear and licences.
June : Féraud appoints Jean-Paul Knott as Creative Director for the luxury ready-to-wear collection, show in October during the fashion weeks (SS 03).

2003
March : last show of Jean-Paul Knott.
July : opening in Paris at 400, rue Saint-Honoré of the worldwide flagship store on 300 sq meters.
November : Escada sells Féraud to the private equity fund Bavaria.

2004
Férauds ready-to-wear line for women, designed since 2002 by an international studio headed by Matthias Heitzler, are developing.

2005
New shareholding with Alliance Designers. Ready to Wear development by Jean Pierre Marty.
