1989		"L'ATELIER VERSACE", Haute-Couture is created
July 6th 1989		Gianni Versace Presents "VERSUS"
May 1992		Gianni Versace works with Elton John for his tour around the world
1993		Creation "HOME SIGNATURE"
		Gianni VERSACE has received distinctions and prices during all is career.
July 15th 1997		Date of Mr Gianni Versace 's death.
		His brother , Dottore Santo Versace is the President of Versace group and managing director. His sister, Donatella Versace, will be the artisitic manager. Donatella Versace, with a degree in languages, was at her brother's Gianni side from the very beginning of his career, following as her first official job, those photographic campaigns that contributed so greatly in diffusing the Versace Style. She took on the Accessories collections and some licences. From 1993 she personally designed the Versus line. Her personal friends are Madonna, Sting, Courtney Love... Her first collaboration with Maurice Béjart was in june 2000 for" l'Enfant Roi" The design department is led and inspired by Donatella Versace. The Versace Atelier has been realizing for a long time precious and refined creations for a world-famous clientèle . Big artists often apply to Versace in order to realize their theatrical clothes.
