On July 7, 2011, Jean-Jacques Aillagon, President of the Etablissement public de Versailles and Didier Grumbach, President of the Fédération française de la Couture, welcomed their guests at the Grand Trianon Castle (Versailles) to celebrate the end of the Haute Couture fashion week and the opening of the exhibition « The 18th century back in fashion » (Le XVIIIe au goût du jour, couturiers et créateurs de mode au Grand Trianon).

The exhibition curated by Olivier Saillard, director of the Musée Galliera, opened its doors on July 8, 2011 and will last until October 9, 2011.
