In a difficult economic context, creative industries are a key element in worldwide competition.

French fashion companies, which have creation at the heart of their strategy, have become important actors in global trade thanks to their increasingly growing exports. This, in turn, has helped promote the excellence of French products abroad.

These firms offer jobs for qualified candidates and are open to talent from all over the world. They help promote France abroad and have a ripple effect across the fashion and textile industries.

Given this, our Executive Board commissioned the Institut Français de la Mode to do a study to measure the economic importance of the brands in the Fédération française de la Couture and what their impact is in the fashion and textile sectors.
