PARIS FASHION WEEK / SPRING SUMMER 2017 - 27 September 2016
With 91 shows scheduled in the official calendar, the Fédération française de la Couture presents from Tuesday September 27th to Wednesday October 5th the Paris Fashion Week 2017 Spring Summer collections.
Made up of 24 nationalities, the calendar welcomes this season the oncoming of Paule Ka (Tuesday September 27th at noon), Wanda Nylon (Wednesday September 28th at 9pm) and the return of Alexander McQueen (Monday October 3rd at 8pm) and Olivier Theyskens (Tuesday September 27th at 4pm).
Anthony Vaccarello showing his first catwalk collection for Saint Laurent, as well as Bouchra Jarrar for Lanvin, Maria Grazia Chiuri for Christian Dior, Pierpaolo Piccioli for Valentino and Christine Phung for Leonard Paris are Paris highlights this season.
The Palais de Tokyo is hosting several shows, presentations, events and the Press Center located in the Galerie Wilson. Open everyday, reserved to professionnals, the Press Center provides services to journalists, photographers and buyers.
On Tuesday October 4th, 2016, an exclusive presentation of the latest key figures about Fashion and its economy will take place at the Paris Fashion Week Press Center, at the Palais de Tokyo.
This season is again kindly supported by the Mairie de Paris which will display in Paris streets during 15 days the flags and posters of the promotional campaign « La Mode Aime Paris ».
Designers Apartment will hold its ninth session at Atelier Richelieu (60 rue de Richelieu, Paris 2e) from Thursday September 29th until Wednesday October 5th, 2016. Designers Apartment, supported by DEFI, gathers the 2017 Spring Summer collections of : A. Guery, AVOC, Carolina Ritzler, Coralie Marabelle, Frater, Kenta Matsushige, Neith Nyer, Mazarine Paris, MiniMe Paris, Quetsche, Quoï Alexander, Side Project, Slash Brand, Victoria/Tomas and Wilfried Lantoine. From 10am to 3pm on Friday September 30th, the day is dedicated to journalists at Designers Apartment.
A shuttle service from show to show is provided.
The shows locations are not communicated this season : The Fédération française de la Couture and its members, in collaboration with the State services and with the support of the Préfecture of Police, will pay very special attention to the safety of people during the September 2016 Paris Ready-To-Wear shows. These measures might generate some constraints for the guests attending shows. The presentation of an ID with photograph might be requested to access the fashion shows venues.
