To celebrate the creativity, modernity and the international aura of Haute Couture, the Fédération Française de la Couture, du prêt-à-porter des couturiers et des créateurs de mode is teaming up with Instagram on a unique project during Fall Winter 2016/2017 Paris Couture week.

Instagram links up officially with the Fédération during the entire Paris Couture week. The Fédération curates exclusive Instagram content, executed by an eclectic mix of international “Instagrammers” : artists, fashion insiders, illustrators, photographers, fashion bloggers, editors, and Haute Couture and Couture designers. The latter give their unique artistic point of view on Couture by submitting a piece of original content that is revealed on their platform, while taking over the official Fédération Instagram account - @ParisFashionWeek - with artworks symbolizing the spirit of Couture.

This season, seven Instagrammers have been selected by the Fédération : illustrators Richard Haines and Clym Evernden, collage artists Thomas Lélu and Pierre Marchal, the fashion editorial team of, Fashion blogger Aimee Song alongside model and entrepeneur Natalia Vodianova. They are granted exclusive access to selected Haute Couture, correspondent and guest members shows and to Haute Joaillerie presentations.

In addition, fashion houses are asked to send the Fédération an original image that represents their point of view on Couture. The images are posted onto the Fédération Instagram account through the entire Couture week.

“The Fédération Française de la Couture is proud to collaborate with Instagram, the powerful channel that has revolutionized the way the Fashion industry communicates today. Couture week is a window for the Haute Couture members, correspondents and guests as well as Haute Joaillerie members to express their idea of excellence in craftsmanship, creativity and modernity. We offered a privileged access to the most prestigious events of the week to a diverse panel of talents. By using Instagram, each of them share their rich and unique point of view on Couture and that Paris is the worldwide pinnacle of Fashion”, explains Ralph Toledano, President of the Fédération Française de la Couture, du prêt-à-porter des couturiers et des créateurs de mode

The exclusive coverage will continue during one of the most sought after event of the week. This exceptional event called the “Soirée Haute Couture” will be held on July 6th.
